Kumaon Hills and especially Nainital District is the country’s second most visited region after Goa (as per one recent survey). Within this area, Ramnagar (Corbett) is the closest by distance.

The Kumaon Hills have unique soils and climate which allow very distinctive and exclusive herbs and spices. The mythical Sanjeevni Booti was from the Dronagiri mountain near Dwarahat.
